It’s officially fall and Children’s Ministry Leaders around the country are gearing up for another year of faith-building family events. As you welcome kids into your church for Fall Kick-offs, Christmas, and Easter, remember that these events can play a key role in your VBS outreach. Take the opportunity to build anticipation and invite everyone back for VBS 2024 with tasty treats!
To help, we’ve created these super fun, super easy, downloadable “Treat Bag Toppers” templates! Simply:
- Download the template for the VBS of your choice (Scuba, Hometown Nazareth, or Outback Rock). The general template has 4 toppers to a page, and you can use the editable fields to add your own text, such as your churches name or a Bible verse. The Avery template download is a zip folder with a front and back page pdf. See additional Avery Label printing instructions.
- Add your info into the editable space.
- Print on Avery Label 22801 (Printable Bag Toppers with Bags) or print on 8.5 x 11 paper and cut out.
- Stuff with the treat of your choice, attach the label, and let the fun begin! (If printing on plain paper, you can staple the a baggie.)

Additional Avery Label Printing Instructions:
- Download Avery Label Template.
- Go to Avery Label 22801 website.
- Click on “Upload Your Artwork” Under the “Start Designing” button.
- Click “Download as Guest” option.
- Enter in your email and click download.
- Upload front page of the Treat Topper PDF.
- Upload back page of the Treat Topper PDF.
- Click the “Customize Design” button located at the bottom right corner of your screen.
- Over in the “Navigator” section select “edit one” then select the back page Treat Topper and rotate to be right side up. (If you skip this step your print will come out upside down.
- Ensure you are satisfied with your design. Then click preview and print.
- Click “Get PDF To Print”
